Giostra del Saracino in Arezzo

Every year Arezzo celebrates its ancient Medieval past with the Saracino festival. The nights excercise their might against a merry-go-round Moore-like dummy, reminescent of the ancient crusaders excercising to fight back the Arabic invasion during the Middle Ages.
This year the appointment is on Piazza Grande in Arezzo on the 3rd of September in the afternoon.
