Dante Alighieri Siena
Dante Alighieri Siena, language, culture and gastronomy school is set in a
charming historical building in the oldest part of the medieval city of
Siena, "Castelvecchio”, right in the city centre.
It is set on 3 levels (2 of language and 1 of gastronomy school ) and has
many new facilities – from a self study centre and internet point to a
library, 25 classrooms and a student recreation room. Siena itself is set
amongst rolling Tuscan hills, conveniently placed for Florence, Pisa and
Rome airports and easy to reach by public transport.
Our classes consist of students from various countries as well as students
of all ages. All classes are taught in Italian, but of course pitched to
the level of the students within it. The programmes of Italian language,
gastronomy and cultural lessons are accompanied by a busy social programme
which changes every month, including cultural visits, wine and food tasting,
discussion on Italian films, dinners, etc.
Our courses can be started all year round (a minimum of 1 week stay is
required).Classes are run daily from Monday to Friday and attendance is
compulsory.
We can offer both group and individual language tuition, always held by
specialized and graduated teachers , who take care of each student needs.
We plan different programs for different student's requirements : from Opera
singer program to Theatre perfomance course , from Lyric course to "Siena
Magnifica" program, from "Intership" to "Cooking Training" : different
opportunities to choose the most suitable course for all students.
Studying Italian language while staying at teacher's home would be possible
through our "Home tuition" course, held in Viterbo by one of our teacher;
you will appreciate all aspects of Italian life, while actively taking part
to all activities arranged during your stay there.
On demand, we can provide students with accommodation in Siena: you can
choose between staying in an apartment with other students or by yourself,
in an Italian family or in a Residence or Hotel. Rooms are booked on a
first-come, first-served basis and can be located in the historical city
center or in the immediate suburbs of Siena.
